About the Calendar & Patterns
Who created it?
The Patchwork Calendar is curated and produced by Nic at Craftapalooza in collaboration with 11 independent quilt designers.
Is it only a wall calendar or something more?
It is a printed wall calendar plus a digital bundle of 12 PDF quilt patterns, one for each month.
How is it different from a regular quilt calendar?
Regular calendars show photos only. This one includes the actual patterns so you can sew the quilts you see.
Do I get the 12 PDF quilt patterns with the calendar purchase?
Yes. Your purchase includes 12 PDF quilt patterns, one for each featured quilt.
Are the patterns full patterns or mini projects?
Full, print-ready PDF patterns with fabric requirements, step-by-step instructions and more!
What sizes are included for each pattern?
Sizes vary by designer; most include at least a lap/throw, with many offering multiple sizes. See pattern specs in each of the pattern PDFs.
What skill levels do the patterns cover?
Beginner to confident maker. Each pattern notes the skill level.
Are the patterns precut friendly (fat quarters, charm squares, jelly rolls)?
Many are precut or scrap friendly. Pattern PDFs indicate compatible precuts.
Are any projects EPP friendly or hand sewing friendly?
Yes. Several are suitable for hand piecing, EPP, or slow stitching. See each pattern's technique notes.
Do the patterns include fabric requirements and cutting diagrams?
Yes. Yardage, cutting, piecing instructions, diagrams and more are included.
Are there quilting or finishing suggestions in the patterns?
Yes. Most patterns provide quilting ideas and finishing guidance; binding tips are often included.
Are there video links or extra resources?
Where a designer has them, links are included inside the PDF.
Who are the 12 designers?
The calendar features 12 modern quilt designers. See the current year's designer roster on the product page.
Are the calendar quilt photos the same quilts featured in the patterns?
Yes. The quilt photographed each month is the quilt you can make with the included PDF.
Where can I see more photos or colorways of each quilt?
Check the product gallery and our Instagram.
Downloads & Files
How do I download the PDF patterns after checkout?
Download links are shown on the order confirmation screen and sent to you by email immediately after purchase.
Do the download links expire?
Yes, the 2026 Patchwork Calendar links expire 2 January 2026 and there are download limits. Please download and save your files promptly. If you need help later, contact support.
Can I re-download later if I lose my files?
Yes, there are download limits. If you hit a limit, please email us. Use your original email links or contact us with your order number for assistance if it's outside of the download dates.
What file format and page size are the PDFs?
Standard PDF format optimised for A4/Letter home printing. Some patterns may include larger template pages.
Can I print the PDFs at home?
Yes. They are formatted for home or local print shop printing.
What should I do if the download email does not arrive?
Check spam and promotions folders — the email will come from hello@thepatchworkcalendar.com. If you cannot find it, contact us with your order number for your specific order download link.
Shipping & Printing
What does print on demand mean here?
Your calendar is printed after you order at the location closest to your delivery address whenever possible, then shipped directly to you.
Where will my calendar ship from?
From the nearest print partner in our network where available; this reduces shipping times and cost.
Do you offer worldwide shipping?
Yes. Worldwide shipping is available to most countries.
How long will shipping take to my country?
Typical production time is a few business days, plus shipping time. Depending on which delivery method is chosen, a tracking link is provided.
How much is shipping?
Shipping is calculated at checkout based on your location and calendar size.
Will I pay international postage or customs?
Most orders ship domestically or regionally via our print network, reducing surprise international postage. Local taxes or customs, if any, are your responsibility. Read our Shipping Policy for details.
What paper and print quality should I expect?
Premium paper stock with high-resolution, full-colour printing suitable for vibrant quilt photography. Finished with wire binding and a hanging loop.
Sizes & Formats
What calendar sizes are available?
USA/Canada — Letter or Ledger. Rest of World — A3 or A4.
Which option do I order — Rest of World or USA/Canada?
Order the calendar that matches the desired delivery country: USA/Canada OR Rest of World. Failure to do so may result in extra costs and will result in order delays.
Will the date layout match my region's format?
We offer common international sizes; month-grid layout is universal. The USA/Canada option has weeks starting on Sunday; the Rest of World option has weeks starting on Monday.
Are public holidays printed by region?
No. The calendar focuses on quilt photography and monthly grids; public holidays are not localised.
Purchasing & Availability
When is the calendar on sale and for how long?
The 2026 Patchwork Calendar is available from 7am AWST (GMT+8) until midnight in your timezone on 21 Oct 2025. It is a limited release window.
Is stock limited?
Yes. It is a one-week release. Once the window closes, it is not reprinted.
Will it be reprinted later?
No. This is a limited, once-a-year release.
Can I preorder or reserve a copy?
Join the newsletter or follow one of the designers in the calendar — we will remind you when it's live. No reserving copies before sales open.
What is the price?
See the product page for the current price in your currency.
What makes it good value compared to buying 12 separate patterns?
You receive a premium printed wall calendar to enjoy all year PLUS 12 full patterns from top designers for a bundled price, typically far less than buying individually.
Do you offer gift orders or gift messages?
Yes. You can ship to a gift address, but gift messages are not available. If you are purchasing a gift calendar, we recommend you provide the recipient your download order link that's emailed to you on completion of purchase.
What payment methods do you accept?
Major credit cards, PayPal; digital wallets like Apple Pay or Google Pay may be available depending on your region.
Returns & Support
What if my calendar arrives damaged?
Contact us with photos and your order number within 14 days of receiving the calendar. We will arrange a reprint or replacement.
What is your return or replacement policy?
Because it is print on demand, change-of-mind returns are not available. Damaged or print-defect items are replaced. Please contact us within 14 days of receiving the calendar.
Who do I contact for order issues?
Contact us with your order number. During the live launch dates 15–21 October 2025 and for the duration of October 2025 we endeavour to respond within 24 hours.
Who do I contact for pattern support?
First check the pattern's notes; many include designer contact info. If unsure, contact us and we will direct you.
Patterns — Terms of Use
Can I use the patterns for classes or guild sew alongs?
You will need to refer to each pattern and contact the respective designer for their policies.
Can I sell items made from the patterns?
Please see each pattern for the terms of use.
Can I share the PDF files with a friend?
No. PDFs are for your personal use only. Please encourage friends to purchase their own copies.
Community & Designers
Is there a sew along or hashtag to follow?
Follow #PatchworkCalendar for community makes and announcements.
How can I support my favourite designer with my purchase?
Buy through their unique calendar link during the release window. Designers earn a share of each sale they refer.
Where can I see customer makes or reviews?
Search #PatchworkCalendar on Instagram and read reviews on the product page once they appear. There are also some reviews on our calendar page.
Are there affiliate links for designers or partners?
Yes. Designers have unique links that attribute sales and pay them a share.
How can designers apply to collaborate on future calendars?
Designers can contact us for more information.
Sustainability & Future
How does print on demand reduce waste?
We print only what is ordered, minimising unsold stock and excess shipping.
Will there be a 2027 Patchwork Calendar?
That is the plan. Join the newsletter to be notified.
Do you offer wholesale for shops or guilds?
Group or wholesale options are not presently available.

Are the calendar dates easy to write on?
Yes. The paper and layout are chosen for everyday usability.
Are font sizes legible and high contrast?
Yes. The design uses clear, high-contrast typography.
Are the PDFs accessible for screen readers?
They are standard PDFs. Full accessibility tagging is in progress and may vary by pattern.
